Welcome to PJ Padel Rutland. These Terms and Conditions apply to all customers using our indoor padel courts and facilities at PJ Padel Rutland, located at our family farm near Oakham and Uppingham, Rutland.<\/p>

By making a booking or using our facilities, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before playing.<\/p>

1. Court Bookings<\/p>

1.1. All court bookings must be made through PadelMates, our online booking platform.<\/p>

1.2. Customers must select the appropriate court type, date, time and any additional equipment required when making a booking.<\/p>

1.3. Our venue offers indoor singles and doubles courts. A singles court is intended for two players, while a doubles court is intended for four players.<\/p>

1.4. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their booking details are correct and that all players arrive in time for their allocated session.<\/p>

1.5. Court bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to bookings where necessary, including for maintenance, safety or operational reasons. Where we need to cancel a booking, we will contact affected customers and explain the available options.<\/p>

1.6. Please arrive promptly and leave the court at the end of your booked session so that other customers can use their allocated time.<\/p>

2. Opening Hours and Access<\/p>

2.1. PJ Padel Rutland is generally open from 06:00 to 22:00, seven days a week.<\/p>

2.2. We may close on certain Bank Holidays or at other times for maintenance, safety or operational reasons. Any planned closures will be communicated through PadelMates where possible.<\/p>

2.3. Customers must follow all access instructions and signage when entering and leaving the site.<\/p>

2.4. PJ Padel Rutland is located on a working family farm. Customers must remain within the designated access routes, parking areas and padel facilities. Farm buildings, machinery, vehicles, livestock and other restricted areas must not be accessed unless expressly authorised.<\/p>

2.5. Customers must follow any gate access instructions provided by PJ Padel Rutland. Gates must be left in the required position, and access codes or security information must not be shared with unauthorised individuals.<\/p>

3. Prices and Payments<\/p>

3.1. Court hire prices and any additional charges will be displayed through PadelMates or communicated before a booking is confirmed.<\/p>

3.2. Customers are responsible for paying the applicable court hire fees and any additional charges, including racket hire or equipment purchases.<\/p>

3.3. Payments, refunds and booking adjustments are subject to the applicable booking terms and the cancellation policy set out below.<\/p>

3.4. Any promotional offers, discounts or special booking arrangements are subject to their stated conditions.<\/p>

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds<\/p>

4.1. Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking through PadelMates, subject to the cancellation rules displayed at the time of booking.<\/p>

4.2. Cancellations or changes made at least [XX hours] before the booking start time may be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling without charge, in accordance with the applicable booking policy.<\/p>

4.3. Cancellations or changes made after this period may be subject to a cancellation fee or may not qualify for a refund, where permitted by applicable law and the booking terms.<\/p>

4.4. If PJ Padel Rutland must cancel a booking, we will inform the affected customer and offer an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement in accordance with applicable law.<\/p>

4.5. Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights customers may have under UK consumer law.<\/p>

5. Racket Hire and Equipment<\/p>

5.1. Padel rackets are available to hire through PadelMates, subject to availability and the applicable hire fee.<\/p>

5.2. Customers should add the required number of rackets when making their booking. Rackets will be made available at the venue in accordance with the instructions provided.<\/p>

5.3. Customers must use hired equipment responsibly and return it in good condition after use.<\/p>

5.4. Customers may be held responsible for loss of or damage to hired equipment caused by their negligence or misuse, subject to applicable law.<\/p>

5.5. Padel balls and selected refreshments may be available to purchase from the on-site vending machine. Availability and prices may vary.<\/p>

5.6. Customers are welcome to bring their own suitable padel equipment, subject to any reasonable venue rules.<\/p>

6. Player Safety and Conduct<\/p>

6.1. Customers use the courts and facilities at their own risk, subject to the venue’s legal responsibilities and applicable law.<\/p>

6.2. Padel is a physical sport that involves movement, rapid changes of direction and the use of rackets and balls. Customers should ensure that they are fit to participate and should seek appropriate medical advice if they have concerns about their ability to play safely.<\/p>

6.3. Customers must wear appropriate sports clothing and suitable court footwear.<\/p>

6.4. Players must follow all safety notices, posted instructions and reasonable directions given by venue staff.<\/p>

6.5. Customers must behave respectfully towards other players, staff and visitors. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, dangerous or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.<\/p>

6.6. Players must use the courts and equipment appropriately and must not deliberately damage the playing surfaces, glass panels, fencing or other facilities.<\/p>

6.7. Children and young people must be supervised by a responsible adult where required by the venue’s age and supervision policy. [Insert minimum age and supervision requirements.]<\/p>

6.8. We reserve the right to stop a session or restrict access where behaviour creates a safety risk or seriously disrupts other customers. Any refunds in these circumstances will be assessed in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.<\/p>

7. Health and Safety<\/p>

7.1. Customers must familiarise themselves with the court layout and any safety instructions before starting to play.<\/p>

7.2. Glass walls, doors, fences and other court structures must be used appropriately. Customers must not climb on, hang from or deliberately strike venue structures.<\/p>

7.3. Any accident, injury, damaged equipment or unsafe condition must be reported to PJ Padel Rutland as soon as possible.<\/p>

7.4. Customers must not play while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or in any condition that could compromise their own safety or the safety of others.<\/p>

7.5. Customers must keep emergency exits, access routes and other designated safety areas clear.<\/p>

7.6. PJ Padel Rutland will maintain its facilities and manage risks in accordance with its applicable legal obligations. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.<\/p>

8. Parking and Vehicle Safety<\/p>

8.1. Free parking is available on site in the designated parking areas.<\/p>

8.2. Customers must follow all parking signs and instructions and must not obstruct access roads, farm entrances, emergency routes or operational areas.<\/p>

8.3. The venue is situated on a working farm, and farm vehicles or machinery may operate in the surrounding areas. Customers must remain alert, follow site signage and keep to designated pedestrian routes.<\/p>

8.4. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk, subject to applicable law. Customers should secure their vehicles and belongings and must not leave valuables visible.<\/p>

8.5. PJ Padel Rutland is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles or personal belongings except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.<\/p>

9. Personal Belongings<\/p>

9.1. Customers are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment brought onto the site.<\/p>

9.2. Please do not leave valuables unattended while playing.<\/p>

9.3. Lost property should be reported to us at info@pjspadel.com. We will make reasonable efforts to assist with the recovery of lost items but cannot guarantee that they will be found.<\/p>

10. Photography, Video and Recording<\/p>

10.1. Customers may take photographs or record their own play for personal use, provided they respect the privacy of other customers and comply with venue rules.<\/p>

10.2. Customers must not record or photograph other individuals in a way that infringes their privacy or without an appropriate legal basis or permission where required.<\/p>

10.3. Commercial filming, organised photography and recording for promotional purposes require prior permission from PJ Padel Rutland.<\/p>

10.4. Any use of CCTV or recording equipment operated by PJ Padel Rutland will be subject to applicable data protection and privacy laws. Details about personal data processing will be provided in our Privacy Policy.<\/p>

11. Coaching and Events<\/p>

11.1. Coaching sessions, private events and group bookings may be subject to separate availability, prices and conditions.<\/p>

11.2. Customers wishing to enquire about coaching, private events or group bookings should contact info@pjspadel.com.<\/p>

11.3. Any specific conditions communicated when arranging a coaching session or event will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions, where relevant.<\/p>

12. Facility Availability and Maintenance<\/p>

12.1. We aim to keep our courts and facilities in good working order. However, access to particular facilities may occasionally be restricted for maintenance, repairs, cleaning or safety reasons.<\/p>

12.2. The planned caf\u00e9, bar or lounge facilities are future developments and may not be available at the time of your visit.<\/p>

12.3. Where a facility issue affects a confirmed booking, we will consider appropriate arrangements in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.<\/p>

13. Liability<\/p>

13.1. Customers must take reasonable care of themselves, other players, the equipment and the venue’s facilities.<\/p>

13.2. To the extent permitted by law, PJ Padel Rutland is not responsible for loss or damage arising from a customer’s failure to follow safety instructions, misuse of equipment or reckless or inappropriate behaviour.<\/p>

13.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.<\/p>

13.4. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects consumers’ statutory rights.<\/p>

14. Changes to These Terms<\/p>

14.1. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our facilities, services, booking arrangements or legal requirements.<\/p>

14.2. The latest version will be published on our website with the updated date.<\/p>

14.3. Any changes will not remove statutory rights or retrospectively alter a customer’s rights in relation to an existing booking where this would be unlawful.<\/p>

16. Governing Law<\/p>

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply.<\/p>
